Cress Creek
Cress Creek is a north Naperville community, one of many originally developed by Harold Moser in the 1960s and 70s. It was one of the first subdivisions in the country built around a golf course – a risky idea back when Naperville was still somewhat of a farm town. Moser’s novel communities are part of what fueled the growth of Naperville, and residents today still enjoy the numerous amenities and varied home designs.
Today, Cress Creek has grown into a complex of developments, including Cress Creek Commons, Cress Creek Condominiums, the Courts of Cress Creek, and the Cress Creek Townhomes, for a total of over 2200 homes. These all enjoy access to numerous amenities, including pools, clubhouses, tennis courts, Residents and non-residents alike can join the Cress Creek Country Club, which provides access to the Ron Prichard designed 18-hole golf course, numerous pools, and more. Residents attend Mill Street Elementary, Jefferson Junior High, and Naperville North High School.
